Donna Collier Rickman is a resident of

Olivet, Michigan.

 

Donna is a retired K-12 Classroom Teacher and School and Community Health Educator, having worked in diverse classrooms and communities in Michigan.

​

She has been a touring performance re-enactor on The Life of Sojourner Truth adjudicated through the Michigan Arts and Humanities Council, and helped co-write and edit an Elementary Curriculum on Ms. Truth’s Life.

 

Donna is a Christian author, a member of The Society for Children’s Writers and Illustrators, is a dramatist, lecturer, and poet. She serves on numerous boards for children, women, and local history.

She was born and raised in Hannibal, Missouri; attended Northeast Missouri State University;

and graduated from Kellogg Community College and Western Michigan University.
